What the job involves
We take the interior apart as far as it goes without tools. Floor mats out, storage compartments emptied, seats moved forward and back so we can reach the places that never get touched. Then we work from the top down, so what we loosen from the dashboard does not end up on carpets we have already done.

We match the product to the material. Plastic, fabric and leather each need something different, and a single all-purpose cleaner used across all three is how dashboards end up with an artificial shine and leather ends up drying out.
When you need the deep clean instead
An interior clean is the right choice for a car that is simply due a proper going over. It will not remove a coffee stain that has been soaking in the seat for a year, a lingering smell, or dog hair woven into the fabric. Those need the upholstery to be shampooed and extracted, which is the deep clean.
If you are unsure, book the interior clean. We will look at the car before we start, and if it genuinely needs the heavier treatment we will tell you then rather than afterwards.

How long it takes and what you need to arrange
Around two hours for an interior clean on a normal car, three for a deep clean. Larger or heavily soiled vehicles take longer, and we plan with room to spare so we are never rushing the last half hour.
You need to provide a parking space and nothing else. We bring water, power and all the equipment. You do not need to be present, and you do not need to hand over a tap or a socket.

Where we work
We work on location only, in Amsterdam en omgeving. There is no workshop you drive to. We come to you, at home or at work, and we do not charge for travel within our service area. Not sure whether you are inside it? Just ask.

What is included in an interior clean?
The full interior, from the boot to the inside of the windscreen. We vacuum everything including the seams between the seats, take out and clean the floor mats, clean and condition the dashboard, centre console and trim, empty and clean the storage compartments and cup holders, do the door sills, and finish the inside of every window streak-free.
What is the difference between the interior clean and the deep clean?
The interior clean is a thorough clean of a normally used car. The deep clean adds shampoo and hot water extraction of the upholstery, the door panels and sills, a leather treatment, and an odour treatment. Book the deep clean if you are dealing with stains, smells or pet hair, because those are the things a regular clean will not remove.
Can you get rid of pet hair?
Usually yes, and it is one of the more common reasons people call us. Hair worked deep into fabric needs the deep clean rather than a vacuum, so book that one if your car carries a dog regularly.
Will the seats be wet afterwards?
After a regular interior clean, no. After a deep clean the upholstery is damp rather than wet, because we extract the water we put in. Leave a window open for an hour or two and it will be dry. We will tell you on the day how long to give it.
Do I need to empty the car first?
Take out loose personal belongings so we can reach everything. Child seats, floor mats and the contents of the storage compartments you can leave to us.
Can you come to my office?
Yes. You tell us where the car will be when you book. Plenty of our customers have the interior done while they are at work, so it costs them no time at all.
